We tend to use a contract on larger scale jobs like extensions
and new builds. But we are happy to use a contract for anyone who would like the
extra piece of mind. We base our contract on the free templates offered by the
Federation of Master Builders (FMB). They are available online via the FMB
website.

We do not have our own in house design team, but we can always
offer our advice and experience to point you in the right direction. If
you need more in-depth design advice then please contact Steve Karpa our
recommended architect. He will definitely have the answers to your
questions and will be able to provide drawings for planning approval etc.
You can find contact details for Steve Karpa on our links page. click

Our payment policies are as simple as they get. On
full completion of small scale jobs we expect payment within 7 days of the
invoice date.
On larger jobs like extensions, new builds and conversions we implement
a stage payment scheme. All stage payments will be outlined in your
contract which we will ask you to sign before confirmation of your provisional
start date. The stage payments will work in a similar way, and payment
will be expected as each stage of the job is completed.
We do not ask for large deposits, never more than 10% of the
total price quoted. On larger jobs we need a deposit to confirm your start
date as cancellations can be very costly for us.
We are currently members of the Federation of Master Builders and the European Builders Confederation. Our FMB membership also includes the Masterbond Insurance and Trustmark schemes.
Take a look at the the FMB website where you will find details of our membership along with a whole host of other help full information.
